Philip Beesley is a Canadian architect, artist, stage designer, and professor of architecture at the Unversity of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, whose work crosses the boundaries of art, design, science, and technology. A major focus of his experimentation in responsive architectures is the development of kinetic and interactive geo-textile structures that blur the boundaries between inorganic and organic matter, creating hybrid connections between humans, their built environments, and the natural world.
