This class explored the continuing relevance and power of the personal mark as the foundation of the painting. Participants examined how this hand-made characteristic, combined with physicality of materials, can become a vehicle for creativity that roots communication back into lived experience while offering the possibility of more expansive and accelerated consciousness.
I chose to spend my time focusing on the model, as I am extremely interested in the female nude.
